Is there a way to run the Profit

I am trying to avoid creating additional accounts to better track product sales and cost of good for different parts of our business. I was hoping by using the product Categories I could do this on the P

I'm happy to provide you the steps on how to run a Profit and Loss (P&L) report in QuickBooks Online. 

 

A P&L report is one of the most effective ways to view a business summary of revenues, costs, and expenses during a specific period. To pull up the said report, please follow the steps below. 

 

  1. Go to the Reports tab on the left side. 
  2. Under Business overview, click Profit and Loss
  3. Hit the Customize button located on the right side. 
  4. Choose Report period in the drop-down. 
  5. In the Columns drop-down, pick Product/Services
  6. Tap Run report.
