Is there a way you can create a budget for Cash Flow to track budgeted vs actual like you can with Income/Expense

Hi there, @sthavera.

What I can suggest, instead of creating a Budget to run a Budget vs. Actual report, you can utilize Planner found in the Cash Flow menu. This way, you can track and forecast money in and out of your cash flow by adding items to reflect certain changes in cash flow.

Here's how to set up the planner:

  1. Connect your bank account.
  2. Add a new item. Please take note that the items aren't actual transactions. QuickBooks won't add them to your books.

I'm adding this article for more information about editing or updating a planner: Use the cash flow planner in QuickBooks Online.
