I'm happy to have you here today, Brandon. I'll help you fix the error you're getting while verifying your information.

Some banks will ask you to validate your information for security reasons when connecting them to QuickBooks. If you've confirmed all the details but are still required to do the same steps repeatedly, the browser's cache may affect this behavior. You can open your account through a private window to narrow down the result.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to save you time:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works, clear the cache of your main browser to remove the history. You may also use another supported program to isolate the issue. But if you're getting the same result, you need to reach out to your bank to help you with the process.

For more tips, while linking an account to QBO, you can check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. Once your bank is connected, your transactions will be downloaded automatically. You can review and categorize them from the For Review tab.
