Hi there, Billing98.

Let's perform troubleshooting steps on your mobile device and your QuickBooks Online App to resolve why your tax calculation has automatically stopped.

First, ensure your mobile app is up-to-date by checking for the latest version on your Play Store to guarantee it has the latest patches and has resolved common issues.

Next, clear the app's data to avert more issues related to excessive cache accumulated. Cache temporarily stores space that the app uses to store data it needs to access quickly. You can start by refreshing the mobile app and the device settings. I'll be laying out steps below that you can follow.

To refresh your QBO application:

  1. Go to More Options ⋮, then select Settings.
  2. Choose Refresh Data, then click Yes.

To refresh your device settings:

  1. From your phone's settings, select Apps.
  2. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list, then select Storage.
  3. Then tap Clear data.

Lastly, if the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the application to start fresh. I also recommend checking on the QBO mobile app system requirements to ensure the compatibility of your device with the app to run smoothly.

Furthermore, I gathered these articles for you to check out as a reference for using the app:

Moreover, if you have received a specific error, kindly return to this thread and provide us with specific details to deliver the appropriate solution in calculating tax in your QBO mobile app. I'll be here to answer them at any time. Have a great day ahead!
