Our firm is needing help on how to assist on getting their QuickBooks desktop subscription on their own intuit account instead of being on their previous accountant's.

Thank you,

Good morning, @CFrost1

Welcome to the Community. I'd be more than happy to provide you with details about moving a QB Desktop subscription from old accountant to the client.

There isn't a way to directly move the subscription. However, the client can buy their own license/subscription plan.

They'll need to make sure their installation has the new license and product number. This is simple if they uninstall and reinstall using the new numbers. The company file will open properly so nothing will need to be done as long as they install the same version.

For future reference, review this guide on how to find the QB Desktop license details

If you run into any trouble along the way, don't hesitate to come back. We're always here to lend a helping hand. Take care!

@CFrost1

Your client just need to purchase a new license for QB Desktop Pro Plus or Premier Plus. As their accountant, you can purchase QB Desktop Accountant to assist them later.
