Multi factor authentication turned itself back on and I cannot get it back off. two logins in the last 12 hours on the same device and this is pissing me off.

1. Sign in to your Intuit Account.
2. Select Sign in & security.
3. Choose  2-step verification.
4. Turn off the Use 2-step verification switch.
5. Enter your account password, then select Continue.
6. A message reads that 2-step verification is now off. You’ll also receive an email confirming your security preference update.
