Question

My account is locked and payments blocked. I have a farm and sell working dogs. Is there a way to change this or do I need to find a new accounting software?

I sell  livestock working dogs. And, I guess this flagged my transactions, and QuickBooks has stopped all online payments for my account. I like the software, but if I can not receive online payments then I might as well use a different one. Is there a way to get this changed or do I just need to find an agricultural friendly company.

You can still access your QBO account, correct?

You can use a 3rd party payment processor to integrate with QBO.

I appreciate your efforts to find ways to continue using our service, @bob11. I would be delighted to provide you with some details about why your QuickBooks Payments Account was denied, closed or locked, and guide you to the appropriate support channels to help you successfully re-apply for a payment account.

In order to prevent your Payments account or applications from being rejected or closed, you must meet certain standards. The following is a list of possible causes for your inability to use the online payment feature:

  • Type of products or services you sell
  • Industries categorized as high-risk merchants (e.g. firearm sellers, vape and e-cigarette merchants, alcohol, cigars)
  • Credit History

While I would love to assist you further, the process requires some personal information, and we prioritize keeping your information secure. Therefore, I'd suggest contacting our Payment Support Team for assistance as the Community is a public forum.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help icon and choose Search.
  2. Click the Contact Us button and enter your concern.
  3. Press Continue.

As previously stated by 4Gal, one way to process payments for your business is by using a third-party payment processor and integrating it with QuickBooks Online.

I've included a few articles that you may read to learn more about the acceptable use guidelines and terms and conditions for the QuickBooks Payments Service:
