Welcome to the Community, xquisitepowerwas.

I'll walk you through the steps to delete your data in QuickBooks Online and ensure you can start over again with new books.

If your account has been active for more than 60 days, you won't be able to delete your data. However, you can still cancel your subscription and start a new one. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
  2. Choose Billing & subscription.
  3. Then, select Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Once done, you can now start a new company.

If it's less than 60 days old, you can purge your account. It means that the system will delete all data that has been entered into the company, and this action is irreversible. Please keep in mind that it can't be restored or reversed.

I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Change the URL to include /purgecompany.
  3. Example: Change https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  4. The next screen will provide a summary of the items to delete. Type YES to delete the data, then select OK.

When everything is all set, we can now start a new account and fill it up with your User ID and Password. You can use the same credentials you previously had.

Furthermore, you can visit this handy article for more details about this process: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
