Hi there, garywardworthjr-.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure to share details on how connecting a bank account in QuickBooks Online works. Before that, may I ask which bank you're trying to connect to QBO? I appreciate any further details so I can provide accurate information.

When connecting your bank to QBO, you can either search the bank's name or enter the URL. You'll have to log in to your bank's website to copy and paste the URL on the Connect page. Then, follow the on-screen instructions until you'll successfully link your bank account to QuickBooks. Since the bank is listed but the sign-in URL is different, we have to wait for the updated one from your bank. This is to make sure that you're using and link the correct account.

However, if you're able to sign in to the bank listed and it will go through, you can perform that of now. This way, you can start connecting the bank account to begin recording transaction in QBO.

Here's how to connect:

  1. On the left pane, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Add Account.
  3. Search for your financial institution and select it from the list.
  4. At the top of the window, select the link for your bank's website. A new window opens for the bank's website.
  5. Make sure you can access your account through this site by verifying that you can see your account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.
  6. If you access the account successfully, log out of the FI's website and continue to add the account in QuickBooks Online.

To see additional steps and information on how to finish the process, you can click this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

You also have the option to manually import your banking transactions as a CSV file to show them in QBO. You can open this article to view the detailed instructions: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted once you get to try these steps. I'll be happy to help you further with connecting the Bank to QuickBooks.
