My business name got loaded twice in system. How can I delete duplicate?

Not sure where to go to delete business account. Driving me nuts that I have to pick one of the two when they are the same!

It's possible that you have subscribed to QuickBooks Online twice, userazdentaltemping.

 

If you accidentally subscribed twice, you can rename and cancel the account that you don't use. Here's how: 

 

  1. Log in to qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Select the account to rename and cancel.
  3. Click the Gear icon at the upper-right, and select Account and settings.
  4. Go to the Company menu and click the Company name section.
  5. Rename the company name something like "Company Name (deleted)".
  6. Click Save
  7. To cancel, click the Billing & Subscription menu. 
  8. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  9. Follow the onscreen instructions until you've successfully canceled the account. 

You can log out and log back in to refresh the changes.

 

However, if you're only subscribed to one account and it's unusually displaying two accounts, you can perform a few browser troubleshooting steps. This is to verify if the unexpected behavior is caused by stored cache files. Try logging in to your account using a p private browser. If you can only see one account, you can switch back to the main browser and clear the cache. Other supported browsers can also help you isolate these kinds of issues.
