My payment expired and I can't login and it is saying my payment methods are not available in my county, however I'm in the US and using the same card, how do I fix it?

It's good to see you here, @bzarndt. Let's work together to access your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account so you can proceed with your payment.

 

There can be errors that fail to authorize or validate a payment transaction related to QuickBooks. To fix this, you should first log in and update your payment information.

 

For your login issue, I recommend logging in to a private window to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Feel free to use the shortcut keys below:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Then, update your payment information there. Make sure to review these things when making changes:

 

  • Ensure all your card billing information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Ensure that the billing address in your QuickBooks company file matches the address on your card.
  • Make sure your contact number is formatted correctly using the +area code.
  • Ensure no special characters or symbols (such as @ or *) are in your billing address.

 

Once this works, clear the cache  of your regular browser to remove outdated and damaged files. If it doesn't, you can utilize another supported browser or device, as this might happen when the current one you're using has temporary issues with the program.

 

If the issue persists, I suggest using another payment method. Also, I recommend contacting QBSE support to help you locate the root cause of the issue and provide you with a solution.
