My Qb app on iPhone opens and immediately shuts down. I’ve updated in App Store and it continues to fail

In the meantime, let's go ahead and try some basic troubleshooting steps, such as resetting the app data.

 

No need to worry, the process won't result in any loss of company data. It simply clears the app's cache. The QuickBooks Online app functions similarly to a web browser, as it collects cache to speed up the loading of repetitive data and images. However, over time, these files can become outdated and corrupted, leading to problems such as freezing or force closing.

 

Here's how to reset the app's data: 

 

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Tap General and then iPhone Storage.
  3. From the iPhone Storage screen, tap the QuickBooks Online app.
  4. Select Offload App.

 

After refreshing, please restart your mobile phone and return to your planning. Check if you can navigate back or exit from there. If you encounter the same issue, proceed to uninstall the QuickBooks Online mobile app and then reinstall it.

I did have to delete the app completely and re install but now it seems to be working again.
