Thanks for reaching out to us, Michael.

I know how important it is to ensure swift processing when using our website for QuickBooks to avoid delays in your tasks. With this, I'm here to help you out with knowing what's causing this behavior.

Every version of QuickBooks follows a specific system requirement to ensure the program processes are stable. Part of it is to ensure you're using the supported browsers, meet the operating system specs as well as the recommended internet speed.

See this System requirements for QuickBooks Online to review your computer and browser. If you're still getting the loading behavior given that your computer meets the requirements we can diagnose it using a private browser.

Unexpected issues are sometimes affected by the amount of data stored in the cache slowing down QuickBooks performance. This is because a regular browser will constantly overwrite itself and will not remove history unless done manually.

Private browsing will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

Reload QuickBooks and see if the error comes up again. If it works, clear the cache to resolve browser issues in QBO. You can also use a different browser and see if the issue persists there.

Post here again if you need further assistance with any QuickBooks concern. I'll be right here to help you anytime. Have a great day!
