Hello, Nice Job Rob.

I'll lay down some information on what will happen to your data if your account is expired.

You won't lose your transactions after your QuickBooks Self-Employed account has expired. However, there's a certain limitation for this. The system will keep your data for up to one year since your account's expiration. After that, it will be automatically deleted.

If this account is recently expired, you can simply reactivate it by logging in to your Self-Employed account: https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login.

After logging in, it will take you to the billing page where you can update your credit card information. If not, follow these steps to update it and resubscribe:

  1. Go to the Gear icon menu.
  2. Select Billing info.
  3. Enter the updated credit card information.
  4. Click Subscribe.

I should also mention that if you've previously subscribed to Self-Employed in Google Play or the Apple Store, there's a different way of updating your payment method.

Also, you can still download and export reports even though your account is expired. You won't be able to enter new transactions or file your taxes however.
