Hello @tgilreath,

You'll want to delete the tax payment and enter it as a manual transaction with the correct quarter dates applied. Let me show you how.

To start with, let's exclude the tax payment from the list of your downloaded transactions. To do so:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Filter the list of transactions to show this year only.
  3. You can also filter the Category Type to Estimated Taxes only.
  4. Select the drop-down menu to expand the transaction detail.
  5. Put a checkmark on the Exclude selection.
  6. Click Save

Once done, here's how you can manually enter the transaction:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Select Add Transaction.
  3. Enter your transaction details accordingly.
  4. Double-check to make sure the date is in the correct quarter.
  5. Click Save.

In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about adding your transactions manually: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Lastly, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Banking for QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you have any other questions, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
