Question

My team member's app is saying mobile time entry restricted, but I have the permissions set so they can do it - help?

One of my new employees cannot clock in on the app - it says mobile time entry restricted.  I checked, and I have the permissions set so that the whole team can track time via mobile, and she is the only one having this issue.  I synced, etc. - not sure how to fix.

To begin, I suggest having your employee log out of the app and then log back in. This can refresh their account and ensure that the latest updates you've made are applied correctly.If the issue persists, let's reset the app as there are times when the its data affects the performance. This process plays the same role as clearing the cache from your web browser. 

 

Follow the steps below for an iOS:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Click Refresh to confirm.

 

Otherwise, refer to this instruction for Android:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Click YES to confirm.
