Question

My trial to Quickbooks plus expired... I would like to subscribe but it asks me to update my company info, and will not accept my Canadian address to continue.

I use Squarespace and came to Quickbooks that way via the add on. When I was in the trial, Quickbooks was set up in Canadian currency and had no issues connecting with my Canadian banks.

Hello, cindy-brightbush.

When you sign up for QuickBooks Online (QBO), the region you selected is the country that associates with your Intuit login. You’re likely subscribed to a US version of the program when your trial expires. This might be the reason why your Canadian address is not accepted. To make sure you select the correct country here: Choose your country.

If you wish to change the country, you may need to create a new account by choosing the country first. Then you can follow the steps here to Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription and resubscribe again to the correct country.

You can also use Multicurrency feature to record foreign currency transactions using the same account without changing the account’s country.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm always here to help. Take care!

@cindy-brightbush

If your company is located in Canada, make sure to purchase the QBO CA version.
