Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Information-crys. I'm happy to assist you with resigning into QuickBooks Online (QBO) and adding payroll to your subscription.

To begin, let's sign in to your QuickBooks Online account. You should be prompted to resubscribe. If not, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select Settings, then Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. For your QuickBooks plan, select Resubscribe, and then enter your billing information.
  4. Select Subscribe.

After this, sign out of your account, and then sign back in again. Check your next charge date in Subscriptions and Billing under Settings. If the date is in the past, contact support to prevent back-billed charges from occurring.

I'll also include this helpful resource for additional information and for frequently asked questions on this process: Resubscribe to or reactivate QuickBooks Online.

After this, we can set up QuickBooks Online Payroll to your account. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your account as the primary admin.
  2. Go to Payroll, then select Overview.
  3. Select Get Started.
  4. Select if you (or someone else) paid employees in the current year.
  5. Select the date when you want to start paying your employees through QuickBooks.
  6. Enter your main business address.
    • Enter a physical address (not a PO Box). The work location determines your tax responsibilities.
  7. Enter your main payroll contact info.
  • This is generally the person responsible for paying your employees.
  1. Now you’ll start adding your employees. See Add Your Team below for details.
  2. If you haven’t paid any of your employees this year, you can opt to pay them now by paper check if needed.

Furthermore, feel free to check out these articles for future reference on how to review QuickBooks charges and manage billing information:

Please know that you can always come back to this thread for more queries on reactivating accounts and other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be keeping an eye out. Have a good one.
