Question

No one can explain to me the $10k difference between the 1099k income and the gross income show in the app/website. I've tried calling and using the messaging system.

Hello there, rachel.

I can share some details about the 1099-K income in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

The 1099-K income is from electronic payments, such as credit cards, debit cards, Google Checkout, PayPal and other payers. You should receive this if you get payments from electronic or online payment services or credit and debit card transactions.

Since you have categorized them correctly, let's sign in to your QBSE using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing this unusual response.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

If everything looks good, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about this or anything else QBSE. I'm always here to assist. Keep safe.
