Question

Now that the QB App isn't supported, i tried to login to work online. I received a message that said "Your admin has not granted you access..." but I'm sole admin?

Going into the gear doesn't work as I'm listed as Primary admin and if I try to add a new user, the only role option is to receive payments.

Hi there, @kiddiols72.

Unexpected errors are usually the result of corrupt cache files in your web browser. It helps speed up basic browsing that allows you to save time when loading repetitive images or info. Yet, it can impact processes when your browser accumulates too much historical data. Not to worry, you can clear them in a few easy steps.

Let's start by accessing your account through an incognito window. Doing this rules out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If it's responsive, I recommend that you clear its cache. By clearing them, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

If you're still getting the same error, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can investigate this further.

Here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose Get a callback.
