every line item is marked "taxable". Report will show I collected say $10 instead of the $25 I did collect.

I got you covered today, waffordablehand.

Did you run the Sales Tax Liability report? If so, this report only includes the Non-Taxable and Gross Amount. You'll want to run a different report like Taxable Sales Detail and customize the report to include the Tax Amount and Taxable Amount.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports on the left panel.
  2. Type Taxable Sales Detail in the search field or you can find it under the Sales tax section.
  3. Select the Report period.
  4. Click the Customize button.
  5. From the Rows/Columns section, put a checkmark on the Tax Amount and Taxable Amount boxes.
  6. Click Run report.
