You can submit a request form to our account protection team if the primary admin of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company can't transfer the role to you. Following the standard procedure for assigning admin roles is vital to protect your account and mitigate data breaches or other security risks. The required documents differ based on your business type.
 
For Sole Proprietorship, you need to prepare: 

 

  • Your business license.
  • Your photo ID (driver's license, state-issued ID, or passport).

 

For other types of business, refer to this material: Request to be the primary admin or contact.  
 
Once the transfer is complete, we will quickly review your case. After the assessment, you will get an email update from no_response@intuit.com with the status of your request. If the admin role transfer succeeds, use the provided email address to sign in to QuickBooks next time. If it fails, we will explain why and guide you on the necessary steps.

Another option, you can purchase a 3rd party service to migrate data to anew QBO account.
