Every month I get an email telling me I have to log in every 180 days. Not every 180 days. Every month. Every month I log in and hope I won't have to for another 179 days. Every month I'm annoyed to receive another "you have to log in" email. I've used QB Desktop for 20 years and I hate this feature. Please stop wasting my time!

I understand that the login feature is now affecting your time when accessing QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), sm231.

Let me share important information about the Intuit account. An Intuit account provides a platform to control users’ access to all your Intuit-connected services without granting access to the company file.

It's a new feature and an added level of security when managing access and permissions to QBDT and connected services. Additionally, the file will require that you log back into the Intuit account every 180 days even if you save the credentials.

Please browse this link to learn more about this feature: Intuit account for QuickBooks Desktop.

You can also consider sending a request about the feature that you want in QuickBooks. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Pick Send Feedback Online, then Product Suggestion.
  3. Fill in the form, then click Send Feedback.

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QuickBooks.
