Privacy Issue-revenues shown to 1099 contractors

Hi, I have been emailing back-and-forth with an into it representative for months trying to ensure that my 1099 contractors only have access to extend invoices and do not have access to any revenue information. I was assured that they do not, but this is incorrect. my six contractors have been able to see our monthly revenues each time they log into QuickBooks online .

 

I’ve escalated this up the chain of commands at QuickBooks and I’m being told that there is nothing they can do. I cannot imagine that I’m the only small business owner that would be surprised to know that there is no way to prevent your contractors from seeing your monthly revenues when you want them to be able to do is extend invoices

 

Does anyone have any other ideas? It’s important to know that I was unaware that they were able to see this information so I have to believe there are a lot of other small business owners out there whose private information is being shared without their knowledge..

For as much enthusiasm as the staff here professes to have, it never seems to quite extend to reading what the users have written.
