Question

Progress invoicing is not staying on in the settings. I go to settings-sales-progress invoicing- on (green)-click done. I receive the prompt that settings are saved.

Progress invoicing is not staying on in the settings. I go to settings-sales-progress invoicing- on (green)-click done. I receive the prompt that settings are saved. Then it switches back to off. None of the invoices are the "new experience". Im also not able to send the remainder of the invoices the have been previously saved under and paid as progress invoices.

We understand the importance of turning the Progress Invoicing on and sending Invoice reminders in managing our business in QBO, @celticcarpentryw

 

However, if you're having trouble performing these processes, one possible reasons could be a browser issue.

 

To fix it, here's how:

 

1. Open a new incognito browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

2. Log into your QuickBooks Online account (quickbooks.intuit.com)

3. Perform the steps in Turning the Progress Invoicing on.

4. Then, follow the steps for Sending Invoice reminders.

 

If you can execute it without encountering errors, go back to your regular browser and clear its caches

 

These basic troubleshooting steps are known to fix browser issues.

That didn't not fix the issue. Progress invoicing does not sty saved in settings it keeps turning itself off. It work just fine up till the last quickbooks update, 3 weeks ago. Now I haven't been able to send any final invoice to customers the have paid with the progress invoicing. This is now affecting my business cash flow and throwing off my books.

To get in touch with a human support representative, please follow these steps: 

 

  1.  Open the Help menu and select the Talk to a Human option. 
  2.  Provide a brief description of your issue and concern in the text field, and then click Enter
  3.  Select the I still need a Human option and click on Contact Us to connect with our live support team. 
  4.  Finally, select the Get a callback option.

 

Once this is resolved, you'll be able to use the progress invoicing feature.

 

Just a reminder that support hours for Plus, Essentials, and Simple Start are Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT, and Saturday from 6 AM to 3 PM PT. Advanced support is available 24/7.

Our company uses progress invoicing all the time. before our transition from QuickBooks desktop.  He is indeed correct it does not work.  This is a very frustrating situation.  Please fix it ASAP.

Not a solution, this is been over 7 weeks now with the same issue. I've had customer service tell me quite a few times that this is my problem my issue. I've already started my transfer over to freshbooks. It's too bad you guys weren't listening to customers
