QBO Cancelled - Resubscribe broken - Intuit Glitch with 1099 Submission BEWARE

Our QBO subscription was mysteriously cancelled. Resbscribe FAILS - no way to reactivate our account.  It has been a week.  It took three days for support to admit it was an internal problem caused by submitting 1099s for Efile and complicated by broken code in the Resubscribe software.   There is NO WAY to reactivate our QBO - have been forced to go thru Resubscribe by at least 4 supervisors knowing that it fails every time.    INVESTIGATION INV-82934 has been opened and no resolution forthcoming - it has been 6 days now and I was told on 2/3 that the next status update on the investigation will happen on 2/10!    Our business is at a standstill without access to our books.   CAN ANYONE GET THIS FIXED?????

Thanks for taking the time to write your experience with us here, @DOD3

I understand how that could be frustrating not to be able to reactivate your account for a week now. Upon checking here, the investigation is still ongoing and I see that the next update will be on February 10, 2023. Rest assured, our product engineers are still working on it and doing their best to fix this as soon as possible.

We would really appreciate it if you could wait until the next update on the issue. We'll be sending you an email update once it's fixed.

In the meantime, you can visit this link where you can read some useful information for your future tasks using QuickBooks Online: Help Articles.

If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know in the comment below. I'm always around to lend some help. Stay safe and have a good one!

Thank you @Nicole_N .  Wonder why you said the next update would be on 2/2 when your post was on 2/4?

Problem persists.  Got an "insult to injury" email today documenting a prorated refund, to my payment method on File, for my paid subscription that was cancelled.   If they can credit my payment method why can't I resubscribe with it? Wondering why there was no verification for the cancellation?  Seems like every other time I log in to QBO I have to provide a security code.  Or whenever I call support I have to verify my company name, my name, my email, my company number etc etc.     But when my account was cancelled - NOTHING!  It just got cancelled with no notice or check.   In fact it took three days for support to even find out how it got cancelled (By Intuit's bug in 1099 processing).   Seems like most anything I have ever subscribed to I have to talk with someone extensively as to why I am cancelling or would I like a discount to continue.   For QBO its nothing -  an implied "good riddance" - and with the failure in resubscribe (of which there is a littany of incidents here in the community going back 2 years) - an implied "and don't come back"...
