QBO: move company to a new subscription

Is there an app that will copy and restore the entire QBO file into a new account - I want to move the company from one subscription to another. I see I can export and import lists but I am hoping there is a connector that can be used. The move would set up a new company, so the imported data can overwrite all existing information.

You may have 3 options:

1. Use a migration tool

2. Convert your data to QB Desktop and convert it back to a new QBO account. Some data types (e.g estimates, purchase orders, attachments) will be removed due to the limitation of the double steps conversions.

 

3. Purchase a 3rd party migration service.

You'll want to visit our QuickBooks App Center. There, you can find third-party apps that can help you copy and restore the whole QBO file into a new account. Just follow the steps below in searching the app:

 

  1. Login to qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
  3. Enter Sales order in the search bar.
  4. You can also click the Browse category button to filter the results.

 

From there, you can read some reviews from other customers, check some commonly asked questions about it, etc.
