QBO update payment, duplicate charges, no interface feecback

Today I had to update my payment method for Quickbooks (new card had been issued). Whoever designed the screens that guide this process should be placed in a burlap bag and beaten, and here's why:

 

When updating your payment method, the confirmation button says "Save and Use this card." After clicking this button, nothing happens. No visual feedback occurs. And the card wasn't added. So, I went back and added my card again. Sure enough, an hour later my bank account balance is BEYOND ZERO. It turns out that all my attempts were indeed transacting, but with absolutely no confirmation or notifications.

 

The correct way to update your billing:

Settings (gear icon) > Account and Settings > Billing and Subscription

 

If you want anger and a depleted bank account:

My Avatar Icon > Manage your Intuit Account > Products and Billing

If you update from this path, you will encounter the poisonous screen I mentioned above.

 

Has anyone else experienced this glitch?

Please address this issue immediately.

If that situation happened to me, I would also feel the same.

 

Updating or changing the payment method is usually done in the Account and settings page. You can check out this article for reference: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

 

As for the issue you've encountered in the Manage your Intuit Account page, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have more tools to investigate what's causing this behavior.
