I am getting an error -when trying to use the beta pricing to test it out.  Circle of death spiral...is this due to beta and just not ready yet?

Pricing rules let you control the price of your products and services, sstewart.

This feature, even though it is still in Beta, is accessible to all users once activated. If you want to test it, you should see an option to set it up under the Products and Services section after selecting All Lists. For visual reference, I've added pictures below.

Also, may I know which page did you encounter the error? Doing so helps us determine the cause of this. A screenshot would be a great help, too.

To resolve this, I suggest accessing your QuickBooks Online account through a private browsing window. Doing so helps us determine if this is a browser-related issue. Cache helps load web pages faster, but excessive use can affect the program's functionality.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

Once the feature works, clear the cache. It deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. You can also use other supported browsers to fix this.

Aside from that, make sure you're using the old invoice template. The new layout doesn't support this feature.

Additionally, you can run and customize sales and inventory reports in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can track your best sellers, on-hand items, the cost of goods, and more.

I'm here to assist you if you have future concerns regarding managing your sales transactions in QuickBooks. Feel free to post your questions or any follow-up inquiries on this topic, and I'll be happy to help.
