Quickbooks Reciepts Glitch

We scan in our receipts and transfer them to quickbooks, but with each time we do it, a few receipts from previous months keep popping up in our box to review. They aren't set up as recurring, so I'm trying to figure out why they keep popping up, or how to make sure they don't come up any more.

We can start by signing in to QBO using a private browser or incognito mode. This type of browsing session allows the online program to run without collecting data.


Here’s how:

 

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • For Edge, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • For Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.

 

Once the browser opens, scan your receipts from there. If you no longer see the previous transactions, clear the cache of your browser to optimize the browsing performance. If the issue persists, try a supported browser when scanning receipts and opening QBO.


However, if none of these suggestions work, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team. They have extra tools to determine why some of the few receipts from previous months keep on popping up in the For review column. Once identified, our specialists will guide you on how to apply the permanent fix.
