Receipts show unlinked even after attached to transactions

I've attached every receipt to a transaction yet all of the receipts still show 'unlinked' status. Is there an issue with this function currently?

When linking your receipt to a transaction, please ensure that the details on the receipts exactly match those of the transactions. This includes verifying that the amount and the date are the same and confirming whether the transaction is categorized as an expense or income. Ensuring these details are precisely aligned is essential for successful linking. I've attached screenshots for your visual reference:

Once verified that all details are accurate and the issue still persists, let's proceed with our troubleshooting process by accessing your account using a private or incognito window. This approach stops data from accumulating in the cache, which can help isolate the problem. Below are the keyboard shortcuts you can utilize:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

 

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. The system can behave erratically at times if pages are accessed frequently via the browser, which may be a result of corrupted cache files. You can also use other supported browsers as alternatives.

I’ve tried all these suggestions and receipts are still showing unlinked.

Since you've performed each troubleshooting process, but receipts are still showing as unlinked, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

They can be reached while you're signed in.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Sign in to the company.
  2. Click (?) Help.
  3. Use your QB Assistant and enter the question or topic. The assistant will provide options for you to get answers. You can also use your Search tab to enter a keyword or topic you're interested in. When you search, you'll be offered a list of articles related to the topic.
  4. Select Contact Us to be connected with an expert. Make sure to enter a question or search for an article to prompt the button to display.

 

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
