repetitive choices

Curious why the user logon profile can't contain data to eliminate the need to "Choose a Product" each time a question is submitted to the Community? If I am using Desktop Pro or Premier or Enterprise, it seems redundant that I would be presented with a choice to identify QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, and then again later to "Choose a Product" and have to select Desktop or any of the other choices. The user profile should contain this and pass this info along to each question or comment submitted to the Community. What am I missing here?

I understand your concern with the repetitive product selection in the user profile when submitting questions to our Community page, @Deadwood Al.

 

As of now, removing this option is unavailable on the Community page. I'd recommend sending a feature request directly to our Product Development team. This helps us improve your experience and the features of the program. 

 

Here's how to get your feedback submitted:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Click Product Suggestion.
  3. Choose a feedback type and product area on the QuickBooks Feedback window.
  4. Enter your suggestion or feedback, name, and email address (optional).
  5. Select the Send Feedback Online.
