Whenever you attempt to save a customization and share the report the system says the report already exists (even with a new name) and the QB will not share the report.

Hello there, @CT99.

Let me share some information about sharing reports in QuickBooks Online.

There are two ways of sharing reports. First, is the one that you mentioned using the Save customization button and open a specific report, then click Share with from the drop-down menu.

Another way is on the Custom reports tab. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab. Then, click the Custom reports tab.
  2. CLick the Edit link for the custom report you want to share.
  3. Choose All under Share with and click Save and close.

Also, you’ll have to ensure that other user has an access to view a report so they will be able to see the shared reports when they go to their Custom reports tab.

If you still got the same result, I suggest log into your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. Your regular browser's cache might have caused this unexpected behavior while using QuickBooks.

 Here’s how:

  • Press Ctrl+ Shift + N keys on your keyboard (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl+ Shift + P keys on your keyboard (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
  • Press Control+ Option + P keys on your keyboard (Safari).

If the private browsing session works, you’ll need to clear your browser’s cache to prevent unexpected behavior in the product. Check out this article for the steps: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/install-or-update-products/how-do-i-clear-my-brows...

I'm still here to provide further assistance with this concern. Just leave a reply below, Have a great day.
