Question

Sales are being listed as "other fees" which isn't counting towards business income?

Thanks for checking in with us, barbielynnne-yah.

QuickBooks Self-Employed is dependent on the data that the bank processor transmits. The system will post the transactions the same way their service provider created them.

Since you sales are downloaded as "other fees", I'd suggest getting in touch with your financial institution to check on how they send your statements to QuickBooks.

In the meantime, you can manually import the transactions with a CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Select the Profile ⚙ icon and then Imports.
  3. Tap the You can import transactions link. If you don't see this link, select Import older transactions for the account you want to put the transactions into, or your Cash account.
  4. Select Browse and then select the "transactions.csv" file you downloaded from Etsy.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to upload the file.

In case you need help with categorizing your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can refer to this article: Updates to expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed. This will help guide you on how to report your self-employed income and expenses.

I'm always around to lend a hand if you have more questions about QuickBooks or any bank-related concerns. Just tag my name in the comment section so I can assist you further. Take care and have a good one.
