Setting up Accounts in Quickbooks Desktop

Hello,

Is there anyone I can contact regarding setting up accounts on our QuickBooks database. I would like to have QuickBooks set up a list of accounts for us, if there is a way I can set up a meeting to chat about this with someone that would be great.

Thanks!

Hello, YanBQ.

I'll make sure that you can connect with our supports.

Before doing so, can you provide additional details on your concern? This way, the Community Team and other QuickBooks experts will be able to help you out.

Allow me to share the steps on how to set up an account in QuickBooks.
Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select Create +.
  3. From the Type ▼dropdown, select the account type.
  4. Complete the account details.
  5. Select Save and Close.

Although, I'd like to have another go at helping you over the phone or chat too. Feel free to follow the steps below to reach out to us:

1. Go to QuickBooks Desktop Help.

You can also press F1 on your keyboard to bring up the same Help window.

2. Provide a brief discussion of your concern. In order to route you to the correct support.

You may choose the option that you needed.

  • Ask the Community – This allows you to post your question broadly so that a variety of experts can answer.
  • Message an Agent – This allows you to chat directly to a support agent.
  • Talk to a Specialist – Arranges a callback from a support agent.

I've also included this article to check the available hours of our QuickBooks Desktop Support.

For free to read thru this link that can help you add, edit, or delete accounts: Add, edit, or delete accounts in QuickBooks Desktop

I'm always around to help you if you have more questions about managing your account in QuickBooks. I'm one post away. Have a good one.

@YanBQ

You may utilize (and migrate) the CoA from the sample file to start and modify it to your needs. You don't need to create CoA from scratch.
