Sign out (upper right corner) just dims when clicked, but that's all. What should we do?

Hi there, @danafr3-gmail-co,

Signing out to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account is simple. You don't have to close the browser, I'm here to guide you on how to properly sign out of your account.

Here's how:

1. Click the small circle that has a letter in it, next to the Gear icon.

2. Then, select Sign out.

If you're still unable to sign out of your account, I suggest using a different browser or a private window.

Here's how to activate incognito mode in some of the most common online browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you can finally sign out without any issues, it's safe to say that the browser has caused it. This can be fixed by clearing your cache and cookies.

Additionally, you might wish to customize QBO to operate the way you want it to be, by tweaking a few options and features: Edit company settings in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to leave a reply if you need further assistance with managing your QBO account. I'm here to help anytime. Have a good one!
