Question

Since Google has changed their Location format on their timeline, Does anyone now know how to import their timeline to get their mileage reports?

I can assist you in importing your Google Timeline trips to your QuickBooks Online (QBO), Jdshyman.

Before proceeding with importing your data, make sure you have the link to your Google Timeline file readily available. This step is crucial, as the link will allow you to access your data efficiently. Once you have secured the link, kindly carefully follow the detailed steps outlined below:

1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
2, Go to the Miles menu.
3. Select the Add trip ▼ dropdown, then Import Google trips.
4. Paste the Google Timeline file link into the Google Drive URL field in the Import your work trips.
5. Choose Import.

After that, your Google Timeline tips are now on your QBSE account.

You can then proceed to organize your transactions to identify which areas of your self-employed business have the biggest impact: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
