Question

Since the recent app update, it no longer keeps me logged in like it used to. I now have to do a full login and select a company every time. Can this be fixed?

Allow me to share some details about this update.

 

Intuit added account security on the QuickBooks users to avoid unauthorized persons accessing your company file.

 

However, if you're using QuickBooks Online on the website, you can set your account's time-out preference on the Account and Settings page. I'll show you how to do that:

 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Advanced menu and go to the Other Preferences section.
  4. Click the Pencil Icon.
  5. In the Sign me out if inactive for drop-down, select 3 hours.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Select Done. This is how it looks like:
