Still access data once Subscription has lapsed

Looking to gain access again to desktop pro plus 2022 after subscription has lapsed.  Just need to enter in one more month of bills to close out company. Any suggestions?  besides renewing, I dont use payroll or any of the online features.

You can use the trial version for good if required.

Allow me to share some information regarding the expired subscription.

 

After your subscription ends, you will have access to the view-only feature for one year. This feature allows you to view reports, but you will not be able to create any new transactions. Therefore, it is recommended that you export your data before canceling your subscription.

 

To export your data, here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu at the top of your QuickBooks Desktop account.
  2. Locate and open any report.
  3. Choose the Excel option on the toolbar to create a new worksheet or update an existing one. You can also select Print or save the report as a PDF.

You also have the option to download the trial version of QuickBooks Desktop multiple times without the need for registration. However, it is important to note that once you register for the trial, there is a chance of being locked out.

What happens after the year in view only mode ?  Pop-up & online search states access to company files will be denied.

IRS & the State of Florida can audit for 3 and 5 years respectively & they demand access to the software used for keeping the books.

I have paid for the QB desktop disk - how is it legal that Intuit can block me from accessing my company data ?
