Question

synch with bill.com

I recently upgraded from Quickbooks for Non-profits 2021 to Quickbooks Pro Plus 2024. After the upgrade, the synch will bill.com was working intermittently. When I called bill.com support for help, the support desk advised me to delete bill.com from the integrated applications under preferences>integrated applications and the reinstall the synch dashboard. I spent quite awhile on the phone with bill.com support trying to get the synch to work (open their synch dashboard, then open Quickbooks, then allow changes on the drive). The error I receive every time says 'Open the Quickbooks company file and synch again.' I do notice that there is still no bill.com option under integrated applications and I think this could be part of the problem. I cannot find any instructions on how to add bill.com as an integrated application in Quickbooks.

Good evening, @Molly161

Welcome to the Community!

To clarify, have you tried all of the suggestions listed in the article below?

QuickBooks Desktop sync error: Open the QuickBooks file and sync again

Also, here's the app page to integrate it and help eliminate any causes of the problem.

I'll be waiting for your response!

Hi Candice-

Thank you!

Yes, I attempted to try all the suggestions on the first link.  However, I'm not able to following this part:

  1. Select the Company Preferences tab
  2. Highlight BILL and select the check box to allow access
  3. Go to the Sync Dashboard and select Sync. When the application certificate pops up, select the checkbox for Yes, always allow access even if QuickBooks is not running

There is no 'BILL' choice under integrated applications>company preference.

I'm not clear on what the app page is for. The link takes me to instructions on how to start using bill.com, but I already have bill.com.
