Question

The cash flow on the Business Overview Dashboard shows a current cash balance of $0. I have not changed any settings, but it no longer reflects the correct cash balance.

This used to reflect correctly, but stopped working. Thankfully the bank activity is still coming through and reflecting the correct cash balance in the banking transactions views. I hate to see this each time I login "$0 Current cash balance" knowing that it is WAY off. Please help.

A warm welcome to the Community, melissa-neomorph.

When a browser stored a lot of caches, it could cause problems like latency issues. As an initial step, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps. You can use these shortcut keys depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Once signed in, go back to your dashboard and check your cash balance from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

Additionally, I recommend visiting the resources below. These will provide you links about utilizing your QuickBooks Cash account as well as tips on how to use the Cash Flow planner:

I’ve gone through all of the steps you’ve outlined, and the balance is still reflecting as $0. I’ve cleared the browser cache as well as logged in on another browser. No change. I think perhaps something was changed in the backend code for that dashboard widget, as everything else is working correctly and all other areas reflect the correct cash balance and transaction activity. Please let me know who is able to investigate this issue further. Thank you!
