The desktop app is turning into a real pain. When I open a new tab, the app crashes. Now if I try to log a customer payment, the customer drop down doesn't work. Why?

There are reports by some other customers about the Desktop app having an issue, in which there's an investigation (INV- 50172) created. That said, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team to add you to our list of affected users for easier communication and updates.

 

In the meantime, you can try resetting the app data to clear the cache and refresh it into its default state. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
