Question

The non-profit desktop had a report to print for form 990 to complete the return. I don't see this with the online version. Does anyone know how I might get this info?

The report was listed under tax reports on the desktop version. I don't see anything with the online version. If it's there tell me.

Hi there, @jwin1. 

 

Thanks for posting your first concern in the Community. The report for form 990 is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. The closest reports available would only be the 1099 Transaction Detail, Profit and Loss, and Balance Sheet.

 

 I know it would be a nice feature to be added to the Desktop, I'll take note of this request and pass it along to our engineers.     So there is no way to put the accounting into the new version of Quick Books tp get the info for the tax return.  Is this in the works for this year  or at a later date?

      I can share some information about form 990, @Retha1.

       

      At this time, Form 990 is unsupported in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I suggest you consult your accountant or financial advisor to help you prepare this tax form.
