Question

There appears to be a bug in the software that won't allow my Venmo account to connect. I have the correct login but it doesn't allow me to click to verify the account.

Hello, eey. Thanks for reaching out here in the Community space.

To sort things out accurately, may I ask if you encounter any specific error message (code) while trying to connect your Venmo account in QuickBooks? Any additional information would be much appreciated to help us fix this matter promptly.

In the meantime, let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if this issue is not caused by your regular browser. To do so, let's log in with QuickBooks using a private browser. It prevents websites from using cookies and doesn’t record any history and data.

We can follow these keyboard shortcut keys below to use incognito mode:

  • Safari: Command + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift + P

However, if the issue persists, I recommend using another supported browser. For more information about this, you can check this article: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.

In addition, you may also review this article as a reference when you need to organize your bank or credit card transactions in QuickBooks: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to reply to this thread and give us an update about the error with your Venmo account in QuickBooks. We'll be here to assist you 24/7.
