Turning the Classes into their own company

We have 4-5 classes under 1 company (division).  The CPA told us we needed to have 3 separate companies.  

 

Can someone explain the easiest way of doing this?  Turning the Classes into their own company.

You need to open 3 new QBO accounts to manage 3 company files seperately.

Export all of your data out to XLS and you may filter by Class if required by using a 3rd party tool. Then reimport the data into each QBO account.

In term of cost, consider switching to QB Desktop. You may create and manage multiple company files with a single one time license. Deploy a private cloud should you need to access company files by internet connection.
