Question

Two different clients (so far) have sent me 1099 using intuit quickbooks. However when I click on the link and log into my account there are no forms there. suggestions

Somehow, I feel I am being taken to the wrong area of intuit (selfemployed)

 A browser-related issue might have caused the unexpected behavior, operry-graniteva.

 

Sometimes a regular browser stores cache files that cause unexpected behavior within the system. We can perform a few troubleshooting steps to get rid of these kinds of issues. 

 

Open your email and access the invitation using a private browser. Use the login credentials if you've already created one. Then, go to the Clients tab. Select a client and select Tax forms. From there, you can download your 1099s. If it's working as expected, you can switch back to the main browser and clear the cache. Other supported browsers can also help you isolate these kinds of issues. 

 

However, if you get the same result, I'd suggest reaching out to our Phone Support Team so they can investigate the issue further. Meantime, you can ask for a copy of your tax forms directly from your client.
