Question

Two-factor no longer have access

The former bookkeeper for a client of mine has two-factor turned on with her phone and email and is no longer reachable.  I have the regular log-in information and am able to access through accountant version.  We need to be able to directly sign in but can't because of the old two-factor information.  I was told this phone/email is separate from what we have added as contact information.

Does the form to change phone affect this two-factor phone number and if not, what is our next step?

Thanks for connecting with the QuickBooks Community JK Bookkeeping! For this situation, you would need to go ahead and do the Primary Change Request form so you can directly sign in and remove that two-factor information. No need to worry if they are unreachable. Our team can still assist you! The link below contains the form to complete, and it will ask you for other information to start the process. Once we receive the information, our team will email you a status update.

If you need clarification at any time during the process, don't hesitate to let us know. My team and I are here, ready to lend a helping hand. See you later!
