What do I do if my user ID keeps switching to a different user? I'm the Primary Admin but after I lot in, it shows that I'm a different employee.

I know the importance of making sure your user profile's initial is correct in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @kerryjepson. That's why I'm here to guide you on the actions you need to take care of this issue.

Your user initial that's located in the upper right-hand corner in QBO should display the first letter of your name. To isolate this, you'll first have to make sure you aren't logged in as another user through your browser's new tab.

When you aren't using other credentials and logged in as another user, there's a need to further investigate the cause of the issue. Since we're unable to pull up your account here in the Community for security reasons, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can securely verify your account (i.e., email address), check the cause, and guide you with a fix.

Here's how to contact support via chat or a callback from one of our representatives. You'll first have to check out our support hours to ensure we can assist you on time.

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select the Search tab.
3. Click Contact Us.
4. Choose a way to connect. Select either the Start a chat or Get a callback option.
