The Third-Party Agent (TPA) ID of Colorado is 500003214, Deanna. Let me guide you through the process of inputting the TPA ID.

Colorado requires you to do this through their website. Once you do, we can now send electronic payments and forms on your behalf through any of our payroll products.

To begin, log in to your CDLE account. Then, follow the steps below.

  1. Select Account Maintenance and choose Third Party Administrator (TPA) Authorization
  2. Select New to create a new TPA relationship.
  3. Enter the TPA ID in the required field. Our name will appear as QuickBooks Payroll Inc. Then, click Next
  4. Enter the Service Begin Date. The Begin Date must be the first day of the quarter we’ll pay and file for you.
  5. Select the boxes next to the following roles:
    • Edit Employment and Wage Detail
    • Edit Tax Payments Update and Submit
    • View Rate Notice and Voluntary Contribution
  6. Hit Save. You’ll see the assigned roles that have been elected.

Once you complete these steps, Intuit will accept the roles and submit your enrollment info to the agency.

Additionally, you can run a payroll report to get an overview of your business finances.

Please let us know if you need further assistance with your TPA ID. We're here to help you in any way we can. Have a great day.
