What is the best report to show total sales?

You can use the Sales by Customer Detail report and filter to view paid and unpaid invoices. Let me guide you how.

1. Go to Reports.
2. Enter Sales by Customer Detail.
3. Select Customize at the top.
4. From the Rows/Columns drop-down, mark the A/R Paid box.
5. Scroll towards the Filter drop-down. Then, mark Transaction Type box and choose Invoice.
6. Put a check mark next to A/R Paid box and pick the invoice status you want to view.
7. Click Run report.
